    Design Week

The Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Kentucky and Design Workshop, a planning and landscape architecture firm with offices around the country, have partnered to develop design and planning proposals for a new public green space where the abandoned railroad property currently resides between Scott and Bolivar Streets behind University Lofts & Reynold’s Building. The workshop will take place on the E.S. Good Barn at University of Kentucky campus April 17-21.

This charrette will afford students real-world experience while focusing on the guidelines of the Open Spaces Sacred Places Awards funds to develop “significant new sacred public green spaces in urban settings that demonstrate a combination of high quality design-build and rigorous research about user impacts” (www.opensacred.org).Download file "UKLA OSSP Flier 040512.pdf"
